Great service, great food! Their breakfast and lunch menu items are prepared to perfection. May be the best family dining breakfast and lunch restaurant I have visited.

We go here a lot for breakfast because it's pretty close to our house. They have a pretty good selection.. I usually get their skillets or gluten free waffles. Make sure to call before hand to make sure they have the gf waffles though because I've been there a time or two when it was not available. Very cute in there. Be prepared to have to wait 10-15 mins before being sat because it does get really busy in there especially on weekends. Only had one bad experience with a server that was rushing us from before the time we even sat down because of how busy it was in there... Other than that everything is good!

Great food and great service. I always say it is hard to screw up breakfast, but its even harder to do it right. great menu selection to make everyone happy!

Meh...so I love breakfast and my son is half pancake so he knows his stuff. We went at about 11:00 on a wed it was full but we were seated right away the waitress came and we knew what we wanted so we ordered right away. The 4yr old got Mickey Mouse pancakes and I got plain crepes with fresh blueberries. First off there were 3 enormous crepes IMO they should be thin and delicate. But they were huge, doughy, and way to thick and greasy. On the other hand my sons pancakes as I cut them literally crumbled apart they were so dry. He was so hungry he choked some of them down with loads of butter (since he doesn't use syrup). The only reason I gave it two stars is the coffee was decent and they had flavored creamers at the table.

I would say this is the best place to grab breakfast if you are in Homer Glen. Prices are not too bad, and service is usually top-notch. Although, I've never been here on a Sunday morning with the church crowd... I would imagine that would be hell on earth. This place does get busy, but the place is pretty large and accommodating. For those who suffer from gluten-intolerances, they have a few gluten-free options which is nice. Their omelets are pretty good, and you can substitute for organic eggs or egg whites for a charge (can you tell I like to eat healthy?). If you're not feeling breakfast, I recommend the cobb salad. Ingredients were fresh, chicken was good and the price was low. Oh! Soup is also pretty good here! Grab a cup if you have the appetite. Also - this place frequently has Groupons, so if you're looking so save some cash, check out the site. I was a groupon-aholic for awhile and within the span of a year they had deals for this place 3 times. Happy eating!

The owner is EXTREMELY rude. She was hosting when we came in a party of 4 on a Saturday and we had a 15 minute wait. No big deal. We waited outside and then moved inside as we moved down the list. We noticed that some people who came in after us were being seated so I went up to the desk and asked if they missed us. I was told with attitude that my name had been called repeatedly both inside and outside so many times she couldn't understand why we didn't hear it. She then turned towards two ladies who were standing at the desk and said you heard me calling her name over and over, right? They didn't even respond. You are the owner! You couldn't just seat us?! You had to be rude, give attitude and be little your customers? Unacceptable.

Love the stuffed blueberry French toast. Also had the eggs Benedict which was good. Will definitely be back.

OK, like Chinese restaurants, breakfast places are hard to do very great or very poorly: typically you know what to expect and most places suffice. That said, Blueberry Hill does rise above the rest a bit. It's clean, spacious and the staff has always been friendly. Also, this chain restaurant has a vast variety of breakfast and lunch choices: from crepes to chorizo! Prices are reasonable, portions are large adding up to very winning combination. It beats other local places, notably the declining Purple Onion, but still competes with Homer Cafe, a place overflowing with local character.

I've been waiting to try this little gem of a pancake house. I came here on a Wednesday morning so they weren't overly crowded but had their fair share of people. Looks like a regular spot for some of the local seniors. The service was fantastic and the food was equally outstanding. It's been a while since I've had fluffy pancakes and these hit the spot. You do get generous portions so if you're looking to try a little of this and a little of that, go directly to the side orders otherwise, you can build your own breakfast and even your own omelet. My friend had the omelet and it was literally a half of arms length and fluffier than the Downy teddy bear. This is a must try place.

Being from Chicago, where there's a ton of great breakfast places, I didn't expect Blueberry Hill to be the best compared to my go-to places. Things were looking up when the waitress was crabby. Crabby waitress means the food will be good, right? We were surprised when our order came out two minutes later, and the portions were quite large (the one positive, or was it...) But in the end, the food was so unhealthy that both of us felt sick to our stomaches the rest of the day and into the next. I'd say avoid this place if you're looking for a healthy breakfast, and share a plate if you do decide to indulge.

The food here at Blueberry Hill is very reasonably priced. The portions are very large and the food is absolutely delicious! It gets very busy on Saturday and Sunday mornings so get there early or get there after 1 o'clock. In the area of Homer Glen and Lockport you will find no better place to have breakfast or lunch. They are open till 3 p.m. Everyday.

Best place in town for breakfast! They have the best skillets and omelets and the service is always great! I just wish they were open later than 3! We need a nice family style restaurant in Homer Glen like this for dinner hours!

Small little outing with my grandmother, cousin, and myself on a late Tuesday morning, this is one of grandma's favorite breakfast spots, and we all know how often the older folks enjoy going to the same place. There was a surprising number of people in it but they opened up the other room to seat us in a booth that we requested, which was nice. My cousin had a country skillet and my grandmother had the chunky monkey waffles, they each were very pleased with their food. I went out on a whim and got something a little more unique; west coast eggs Benedict. This was cool because it was kind of a lighter breakfast but still pretty filling. It had avocado, sun dried tomato, bacon, well-executed poached eggs, and some fresh fruit. Overall a solid breakfast! Knowing grandma, we'll be back and I'll have to try something else yet again.

My family eats breakfast here frequently. I only have 1 thing, and please just consider this constructive criticism. Something needs to change with the hashbrowns. I don't know if it's the oil or the method cooked, but no flavor. I suspect they are taking boiled potatoes and then browning them up instead of frying them from the beginning. They taste like boiled potatoes, just blah. Everything else about this place is wonderful, I just find the hashbrowns to not be as good as other restaurants.

Love it here. Kristy and Marge are the best waitresses I have ever delt with. Always quick with a joke and to have a smile on. My girls beg to come here daily for the excellent meals (typically strawberry pancakes and ace of clubs) on the way to Everest Academy. Never had a bad order or a meal here.

i give this place a 5 star first of for excellent service, free coffee, and for the food coming out so fast after you order. me and my fiancee loves coming out here for breakfast every week. the pancakes and toast are just spot on. and everything in the menu is well prepared and homemade. we usually order the omelet we just rotate arounf the menu every week.. fresh amd good food is what i want and this is the perfect place. couldnt say more but this place os perfect for my taste.
(5)Anthony J.
Tasty, FRESH food, served fast, and by a friendly staff. Great service. Highly recommend the West Coast Eggs Benedict although I've liked everything I've ever had here. Even when it's busy, turnover is quick. Now expanding into more space and it's no wonder. These people have it right. Try it. You won't be disappointed.

So my famiy, friends and I went to Blueberry Hill for breakfast. We had to wait longer than normal and that was fine it was busy. We got sat and our servers name was Marge. She was rude out of the gate. We asked that half the table be on one check and the other on another. No bigge 2 checks for 8 people. Upon asking for this she just walked away and didnt say anything and came nback 5 minutes later. She was giving us looks the whole time with our order and really didnt seem to give a damn about our requests or children. So our food came and I had ordered the Patty melt with bacon and when I got it the burger was over cooked as well as the bacon and it had no flavor, so after about 3 bites I motioned over to Marge and told her that I didnt like my burger, she replied to me in a rude and almost nasty offended way do you want another one than, I said no thank you. Well about 10 minutes later she gave us our checks and according to her she said she spoke to the manager and the manager said that I would have to be charged for half the sandwich. I, in all my years of going out and also being in the service industry for 24 years never heard of anything like this or would treat my guests as I was treated. So I looked at the check and my dishes price was crossed out and in its place was exactly half the price. Well I was furious and so was my wife she went up and spoke to the manager and the manager had never been asked about this, and was confused about this, he took the whole thing off the check. So the final point is if you dare to go to this eatery be very weary about the scame that can ooccur and never sit in Marges section because you will be in for a dreadful experience. I will never return to this establishment ever!!!

Nice breakfast selection. Fast service.

Driven by here countless times with only a glance. It took a friend to ask me to lunch to get me in the door. The place was spotless. My mother couldn't find any dirt in this place. They even have homemade banana bread at the front counter. I was seated right away and given the specials as well as the regular menu's. I have only been to a few restaurants that the food on the plate looked better than the picture. This is one of them. I had the Denver skillet. It came with 4 eggs, onion, green peppers and chunks of potatos. The greek toast was perfect. My friend ordered some tea and they brought out a pot of hot water and a basket of tea. As I was going to pay the bill, I couldn't stop looking at everyone's table. The food all looked delicious. I cannot wait to go back!

Great food, fast service and it was really clean. Wish this place wasn't so far from home!

The Nutella crepes were fantastic. The service was good. The ladies at the register seem to have a bit of a stern attitude. The first time I went, I thought that maybe they were just having a bad day. After going a couple of times I have concluded that this is just the way they are. Despite this fact, they seem to force a smile when needed.

I am really used to this place because I am very familiar with the location in La Grange. I am not about to compare the two because they are both equally amazing! The service is really friendly and I just can't break away from ordering the seafood omelet. As always they did not let me down! The restaurant was immaculate! I am pleased that we now have a close location to my home. I am looking forward to my next meal here!
(5)Elizabeth V.
Great service. Everything comes out hot and fast. Perfect place for a Sunday brunch. I've never waited more than 15 minutes to be seated, not to mention the food is great.
(5)Carol S.
We tried this place out with a groupon, their omelets are big and fluffy and we really enjoyed them, but the issue with this place is it does not cater to those who are gluten free as many other breakfast cafes are now doing. My boyfriend is a celiac and allergic to gluten and the only item they offer gluten free is a pre-made most likely frozen waffle, most places are now offering freshly made gluten free pancakes, waffles, and some even carry gluten free toast. I suggest Blueberry Hill get on board with the fastly growing gluten intolerance and offer more of a variety of fresh made items for those with gluten intolerances/allergies.

Quick service, friendly staff and good food with huge portions. Ive been here multiple times and it is consistently good. Never had a complaint. The best chicken fried steak I've ever had. It can get very busy but the cycle people in and out very efficiently and you never feel rushed.

Best breakfast place in town great food great service & priced right One of our favorites

I have been here a few times and their food is pretty good! Their breakfast is better than the other options. They are only open until 3pm.

We arrived a few minutes after 9:00 AM on a Friday and it was very busy, but we still got seated right away. The waitress was attentive and very nice. The food was good, though I wish that they had a few more build your own breakfast type options on the menu. I had to order eggs, toast, and hash browns separately. There was a little ad on the table about getting $3 off your meal for joining their text club, so we did that and were able to use the code right away. Overall, it was a good breakfast and they definitely didn't rush us out the door. I'd recommend it, though I'm betting you'll have to wait for a table if you go on the weekend. We seemed to get literally the last available table.

Stay away! I bought a groupon to try it out and now I think I know why they are trying to lure more customers in. The waitress was rude- did not refill my coffee once. Would come by and say something very fast then would run off as I was asking for more coffee. I know it was busy, but all it takes is a minute to make your customers comfortable and happy. The food was bland and tasteless. Had a skillet and the potatoes had zero flavor. Had to load them up with salt, pepper, and ketchup. The first time waitress poured coffee she almost burned our two year old- stuck the coffee pot in her face! I have never seen anyone do this! Any waitress with a brain knows not to serve coffee in front of a baby/toddler. The cashier was dressed very inappropiately. How do I know? Every man waiting to me seated was staring. Save the work out clothes for the gym!!! I will not be back and will tell my friends and family to stay away. If rudeness is your gimmick, then you guys got it right.

I went to the Blueberry Hill Cafe in Darien, but since it's a chain, and the Darien location is not on Yelp, this is fine... Plus: We were seated right away and received our food quickly. It was satisfying, but it didn't blow my mind. While I appreciate the sentiment behind giving me juice with no ice (getting more juice), it was still lukewarm which wasn't very satisfying. I wish I had been asked about my preference. They have a large menu with plenty of options to choose from, all priced very modestly! They were great about splitting up our check. Downside: They seemed very understaffed- we had to ask for coffee three times before actually getting a refill and we weren't checked in on during our meal. We waited with an empty jug of water during most of our meal! I wish we had been checked in on more for our beverage needs. Overall, I probably will continue my search for an outstanding breakfast nook in the Chicago suburbs!

Love this breakfast place! Only been here a couple times but I enjoyed myself thoroughly! First time I got one of the skillets.. cant remember the name .. but it was potatoes, chorizo, monterey jack cheese, & eggs.. DELISH! oh it was so perfect. Just went again and went simple - got the blue plate special for about 7 bucks.. you get 2 eggs your way.. then a half order of your choice between pancakes, waffles, banana nut french toast, potatoe pancakes, german pancakes, & a few more choices.. then your choice of meat. I got 2 scrambled eggs and half order of waffles and bacon extra crispy. They made the plate into a smily face (how cute!) - two small waffles for the eyes, eggs for the nose, & a smile shaped honey dew slice, and bacon for hair! So adorable! The bacon was so perfect.. I always order extra crispy when i go out to breakfast and places usually dont cook it crispy.. but this place made it just how I like it! Both times i went my servers were extremely helpful and friendly. The only thing I could say negative about this place is its a little outdated in the front main part of the restaurant. . Could use some new paint and updating.. the back part of the restaurant is much cuter. Also, the hostess could be a little more friendly. Overall, this place is great. Fair prices, great service, big variety of menu items, delicious food! Definitely stop in and give it a try!

1 star deducted for bad service, 1 star deducted for place being dirty, 2 stars deducted for refusing to add Jalapenos To my skillet as a substitution, actually walked out!
(1)Terry D.
The plain crepes were excellent with a subtle nutmeg flavor that I love. I ordered a side of hash browns with onions and Monterey Jack cheese and cook put just the right amount of each so perfection. They have a very good house blended fresh squeezed orange and strawberry juice. You can tell because it has a bit of zip and isn't overly sweetened. I'd go back.
(5)Keith L.
Pretty good breakfast and a great variety on the menu. Service is usually top notch but the pancakes are awful! Dry, crumbly and just not worth it! AVOID PANCAKES!
(3)Dave T.
Noticed 3 different waitresses today that need to tie their hair back. Every Time they carried out food on a tray and used their shoulder to carry it; their hair was on the food. I counted 6 times with 3 different waitresses. Kristin, marge, and one other one who I couldn't see the name badge. It was fully touching it. Over and over. I also work in the food industry and can't believe nobody has noticed. Also the bacon was not as good. It tasted like Oscar Meyer microwave bacon. Wasn't impressed. Lagrange location much better and will continue to go there. Originally I gave a good review which is fine- but I hope this gets addressed.
(2)Jenna S.
I've had the country fried steak and eggs and the corned beef skillet, both multiple times. Not because I'm trying to raise my cholesterol level, but because they are hands down the two best breakfast dishes in South suburbs of chicago. Their country fried steak is the best I've ever had, and the gravy is like life blood. This place is an institution.
(5)Rich K.
I could care less about service at breakfast places, so I'll just talk about the food. My egg was hard scrambles (like I asked) and it was burnt. But more importantly, the hash brown potatoes literally had no flavor. And I mean not even the flavor of salt. Which was disappointing because they were the chunky style so when I saw them my mouth watered. Then I tasted their dryness and my mouth frowned. I don't even think they were made with oil either. I ended up eating my wife's and kids food which was fine(except her hash browns were awful too) but that's beside the point.
